Day 4; Day 3 Running

Day 4 since I started, third day of running. Still in pain. Still can't breathe. I think I made it farther running--did less walking...but this pain is kinda ridiculous.

I know exercising isn't supposed to be easy, but so far this sucks.

21 Days to Break a Habit. 17 days till I'm used to getting up and doing it.

Breaking the Addiction Day 3

So I didn't post the first two days, but I figured I'd go ahead and update anyone out there who cared on what I'm trying to do...

I'm breaking my addiction with laziness--trying this running thing again. Hopefully I can keep it up, but my body is in a lot of pain now.

I ran Wednesday and Thursday and took a break today because my legs are in A LOT of pain and it's hard to walk at work. I'm going to try to run again tomorrow--same distance as before (I think it's about a mile but I haven't measured it). I can't believe how awful I feel, but I hope it gets better over the next couple of weeks. I want to get to the point where I can run this route and not stop to walk; I also want to be able to run every day without feeling horrible. Once I can do that I will lengthen my distance.

I hope to be able to run a half marathon (at least) by this time next year. I also hope that I can keep running even when it gets "too hot" or "too cold".

We'll see!
