I drove through a cloud today. No, really, a whole cloud. Have you ever flown? You know when you're going up or coming down and you're looking out the window and your window is completely covered in white? Yeah...That's pretty much what happened to me today, except it was grey instead of white. The radio said there was supposed to be heavy fog.
It didn't say I would be driving through a CLOUD.
I drove up the mountain, into the cloud cover, and then I barely had ten feet of visibility. I then drove down the mountain...and out of the cloud. It was rather nice. When I was OUT.
Hope everyone has a nice night...I'm waiting on laundry.

Overview
I've been working on a literary magazine since the summer started, and it is about to all come together. I am super excited about this because it means that something I have worked on for months is coming together! Seeing something this big through to it's physical culmination of an actual magazine is a major step for this magazine and the group of people who's been working on this together.
Also in news of my life: I'll be leaving the state for a couple of weeks to open a new store in the company that I work for. This experience should be very interesting and enlightening. I am excited and nervous at the same time...anxious, I believe, is the word I'm looking for.
My birthday is coming up, as well. I am going to be turning 23 and am trying to figure out what all will happen in this coming year. 23 is one of those odd years where nothing special happens. This seems to be more common the older a person gets. As a young person we hit many milestones--each of the single years is huge because the child is so happy to be getting older, then they hit the double digits, the teens, driver's permit, driver's license, drafting age, able to drink....and then the next one is simply being able to rent a car and having insurance premiums go down. Hm...what will happen this year?

Awesome idea, right?
So, I had this big, awesome idea, right? Connect my phone to my blog...so that then I could make little updates and posts so that perhaps the few people that I think might be reading this would feel loved and would continue to come back...well...I forgot to use it. >.< Sorry all to all my (one) loyal reader(s)!
Work's been pretty slow lately, or else I really need to change my schedule around because closing during the week just isn't cutting it. Now, the ten/thirteen hour Saturdays have most definitely been boosting la checka, but it's still a long haul to get through those.
Also--seems like all other sports pause when football season starts. Kinda makes for boring weekdays.
In other news--I have had one laptop for three years. Now, this may not seem like very long, but it in the world of electronics it's...it's like a CENTURY!! I have replaced multiple parts and am slowly beginning to think that it may be time to save up for a newer model...it's like a car--I need to get a new one before this one totally busts. I've replaced the "transmission" (harddrive) and the "battery" (battery); I have also added a "cold air intake" (second stick of RAM), and today I just purchased a new "gas line" (battery charger), too.
I tire of this game. I want a new toy!
I had this awesome idea for a story the other night...right before I fell asleep, all the pieces started to come together and it seemed like I might be able to work different story lines into it. And guess what? I remembered them the next morning! That never happens to me!
Mayhaps I'll go write them down now, before I truly forget.
