The new year starts tomorrow and while I don't have any concrete resolutions I am hoping to start a couple of new habits. I say habits because I want it to be second nature by the time the year is up to do certain things.
First I want to write a blog as often as possible, preferably with a column like feel. I am hopping this will get me ready for the journalism world through practice. I am also hoping to get into the habit of running two or three times a week. I don't want the idea to be a hassle, and so I will likely only do it when I find time. I may just focus on walking or something of that sort.
Today is the last day of this year, 2008. I am spending it at a trucking company's office answering the phone. I am also fighting off an allergic reaction to life.
I am afraid it is a losing battle.
I might actually nap tonight before the big ball drop just to help with the effects of this allergy. Sleeping in general is something I very much enjoy because I love dreaming. For some reason the fact that the brain shuffles through the thoughts of the day during sleep and presents pictures that the brain remembers upon waking is amazing to me. There are diseases and cancers that need to be cured, but when all that's done I wish someone would truly figure out why the brain creates dreams.
Another habit I want to cultivate is recording my health and well-being problems, such as headaches and sinus problems. This may happen naturally in this blog, but if it doesn't I hope to find a way to easily record how I feel each day.
Here's some quick facts about myself that I may have not touched on during the post:
Age:22
Gender: Female (if you couldn't tell)
Marital Status: Seriously Dating
Job: Student, Cashier at BWWs, Avon
Hobbies: Writing, Techie Work, Choir
