So--living with other humans who don't understand social life. A joy, yes?
Well, let me reiterate. No. On multiple occasions I have had problems with the humans I am living with.
Just as of late, Sleeper we'll call her, decided to make some mac and cheese. What a lovely idea! Macaroni and cheese just happens to be one of my favorite dishes. Awesome!
Well firstly none was offered to me. This makes sense because I wasn't in the room.
However, when I got home and my roommate was about to make some macaroni for herself and me she opened the fridge. Well lookie there.
Pot in the fridge. Fork, m&c, and all. My pot and my fork not my m&c. Granted I placed the pot and the fork in the communal use areas, but they are supposed to be used, washed, dried and put away. Another twist? The pot used is the best pot for m&c cooking. My roommate agrees.
There are perhaps five to six bites of m&c left.
Lovely people. Really.

Squirrels and Red-Breasted Robins
So this campus is full of squirrels and red-breasted robins. It's usually just the squirrels that get to me, that everyone notices, but the past couple of weeks it's been the robins, as well. The robins have totally taken over the majority seat of the house of representatives on campus.
Last year, if I remember correctly it was the crows. They squawked and squawked. The robins are a much quieter species of foul.
I love watching the squirrels because they are much more interesting. The birds usually just fly off when one walks near, but the squirrels will stare at the walker for sometime judging just how far the walker will come to him before he has to move. Squirrels also often have something to eat or horde in their little paws. I've even seen them with pieces of cookie or ice cream cone. No idea where those come from.
Also: waiting on hair to grow is a long, long wait.

Here I am! Over here!
So this truly was supposed to be more common than it has been. I am sorry for that. I wanted it to be a funny commentary on my life.
Perhaps my life isn't funny. Or perhaps I just haven't acquired the writing pizzazz my mother has.
Today involved:
Class-- 17th century lit--boring-ish...paradise lost
Lunch--hmm--nothing really fun happened...except a joke, but I don't remember it now. It included a young man who, presumably, has the same name as his father and grandfather. He is a rather rambunctious fellow, but can still be rather amusing. I will call him Three.
Class-- (again)--This time it's nationalism. This class is fun, but also slightly annoying because I feel like there aren't any SRS classes that had to do with my major, or anything I was really interested in. Oh wells.
Shopping--Went to walmart with my boy then to the petstore to try to find something for my roommate, then back to walmart...
Work--After all that driving I went to work...which wasn't really that far from any of that other stuff, it just sounded cool. Work was okay, but I really hope something comes out of the career fair tomorrow.
Finally I am at my dorm, after a few more uneventful events...and now I am about to shower and hit the hay. Or well, the blankets...I have like fifty of them :)
